I’ve gained about 100 or so pounds since I graduated high school 20 plus years ago. My doctor says that I’m morbidly obese and that I need to start making changes in my lifestyle. Throughout the years I’ve gotten gym memberships, I’ve tried numerous diets and purchased countless workout dvd’s but nothing seemed to stick or I would fall off the routine within weeks. My usual routine at the gym would be to use the elliptical for an hour and lift weights when able. I would spend at least 2.5 to 3 hours at the gym mostly waiting for equipment to free up.
I found Elite Spartans through a random Facebook post on my feed. I read through their website and yelp reviews and one day just decided to walk in and try their free trial. I remember my first ever bootcamp experience at this facility, thinking “what did I get myself into?” It was a rush from start to finish making use of every minute. Without thinking about it, I signed up then and there. I started off with the 3 days a week program and then switched over to unlimited because I felt I needed more. I push myself to train at least 5 to 7 days a week if not more. I have managed to lose weight and gain muscle throughout my time here. I’ve been working out at Elite Spartans a little bit over a year and a half and I plan to keep going until I’ve reached my ultimate/comfortable goal weight.
